The Service Desk Engineers Intern will provide technical support for network infrastructure, including hardware, software, and Microsoft operating systems, with a focus on troubleshooting connectivity issues. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach to ensure effective support for end-users and internal clients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert technical support for network infrastructure technologies, including Microsoft operating systems, hardware, software, antivirus, and backup systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to internet and email connectivity, with a strong focus on routing methodologies
  • Utilize exceptional fault-finding and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges efficiently
  • Communicate effectively in English to ensure clear understanding and resolution of client issues
  • Demonstrate a customer-centric approach, delivering exceptional written and verbal communication

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree/ National Diploma in Computer science, Information Technology or related field
  • A+ (CompTia certification)
